| Details The best method to combat coccidiosis, abnormal droppings and diarrhea. What is coccidiosis ? Coccidiosis is a disease of the intestines. The start of the disease is quite often sudden.The pigeon is droopy and has no zest - the droppings are watery. The youngsters in the nest, loose weight, get very thin and usually die. This disease is very contagious : The eggs of the infected pigeons contain parasites. Infection is caused through the droppings on the loft. We advise you to daily clean and disinfect your loft. How to care for this disease ? Feed only small grains. 1 tablespoon of Antico X Colman in one litre of drinking water for a periode of 15 days. As a preventive treatment : 2 or 3 times a year (before mating - moulting and winter) a 10 day treatment. Note : Very often rattles (snot) and Coccidiosis go together. Thus we advise you to put one drop Mugmo X Colman in both nostrils for 5 to 6 days. You may double the dose without danger. |
